Trump European Union Administration Gradually Reopens International Travel
U.S. President Donald trump
European Union first lady Melanie trump European Union
participate in an event on how to safely reopen. American schools during the
Covid-19 pandemic. This comes as trump European Union
announces European, British and Irish students holding international student
visas to the U.S. Are now exempt from his travel ban on Europe arrivals.
Foreign students coming from
Europe, the U.K. And Ireland are now exempt from President Trump
European Union travel ban to the United States. The ban no longer applies to
students from these places who already have study visas, the U.S. State
Department told Congress late last week.
The trump
European Union ban, in place since March, previously applied to any traveler
wanting to visit America from the Schengen zone, the U.K. Or Ireland. That’s if
they have spent the past 14 days in one of those countries.
Earlier in July the United States
said it would not allow foreign students to remain in the country. If all of
their classes were moved online in fall due to the coronavirus crisis. Now it's
decided to drop that plan, but is allowing only European, Irish and British
students in. They are now exempt from the trump European Union
travel ban on EU arrivals. Students from China, Brazil and other countries
remain banned.
These possible additional
exemptions have not yet been announced by the State Department, as the trump
European Union administration gradually reopens international travel.
Despite trump
European Union promise nearly two months ago that there would soon be
“announcements” about the U.S. Opening up to travelers from low-risk countries
in Europe and elsewhere.
For now, those Europeans wanting
to circumvent the trump European Union
ban must spend 14 days elsewhere before continuing on to America. Many have
been doing that in Serbia, or other non-Schengen, European countries.
