Harold Nelson Bornstein (born March 26, 1947) is an American gastroenterologist. He is best known as Donald Trump doctor. Bornstein was Donald Trump doctor from 1980 until early 2018; before then Bornstein's father was his personal physician. On April 29, Politico reported that Jackson will continue to work in the White House Medical Unit but will not be returning to his position as the trump doctor, to be replaced by Navy officer Sean Conley, who took over the role a month earlier.

The letter raised more than a few eyebrows during the 2016 presidential election campaign, due to its language and prose: "If elected, Mr. Trump doctor, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,”.
